Supporting Our Neighbors: AMECO Donates Shelving to Aid Western North Carolina Recovery Efforts

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina communities are facing a long road to recovery. While the initial focus is often on search and rescue, and then providing food and basic necessities, the long-term requires organization and logistics support. AMECO is proud to be a part of the recovery effort, and recently donated shelving to Church Builders Tabernacle, which is operating a critical distribution center in the region.

Many people think to donate food and supplies in the wake of a natural disaster, and this is absolutely essential to support those affected. However, as Church Builders Tabernacle discovered, having the right storage solutions is equally important. A mountain of donated supplies can quickly become disorganized and difficult to distribute efficiently. That’s where AMECO’s expertise in disaster response came in.

Our donation of shelving helped Church Builders Tabernacle organize their space and streamline their distribution efforts. This will ensure that essential supplies get into the hands of those who need them most, faster and more efficiently.

This is just one small example of how AMECO supports disaster response and recovery. As a company with a continental footprint and a commitment to our communities, we are uniquely positioned to help. Click here to learn How AMECO Supports Disaster Response and Recovery.
