What is a Workplace Emergency?
A workplace emergency is any unexpected event that poses a threat to the safety of employees, visitors, contractors, or the surrounding community. This can include situations like:

- Medical emergencies

- Roles and Responsibilities: Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of all personnel during an emergency. This includes site leadership, emergency responders, supervisors, managers, and employees.
- Emergency Communication Procedures: Establish effective communication channels for notifying employees of an emergency, coordinating actions, and contacting external resources like first responders.
